Laser cutting at FORCE Laser Center

Laser cutting is a thermal cutting process which can produce high-quality cuts and cut surfaces in materials in thicknesses from foil to heavy goods. The focused laser beam produces a narrow cut kerf in the workpiece, and the melted material is blown out by an assist gas, leaving a clean, dross-free cut.

Advantages

Laser cutting provides a number of engineering advantages over more traditional cutting methods:

The above-mentioned capabilities also provide a number of economic advantages:

Applications

Laser cutting can be used in production processes in which a high productivity combined with flexibility is desired without compromising on quality.

A high and uniform quality with a low heat input makes this process suitable for a wide range of applications in which a minimum of distortion is desired.

Examples of industrial laser cutting applications:

FORCE Technology services

The FORCE Technology can provide consultancy services all the way from idea to finished product. With the enormous volume of expertise and experience we have at our disposal, we can help optimize your entire production process. Typical jobs for the FORCE Technology are

Dual-Focus™

The FORCE Technology has developed a new, patented optical element called Dual-FocusTM , which improves cut quality in thicker materials. Dual-FocusTM can be used in all laser cutting machines – no modifications necessary –and provides the following advantages:
