Establishment of Nordic Laser Hybrid Welding Relationships.

NORHYB is a Scandinavian project collaboration between R&D institutions, Universities and the industry regarding laser hybrid welding technologies. The project is partly sponsored by Nordic Innovation Center.

The objectives of the project are:
  1. Networking and coordination of existing knowledge and activities within the laser hybrid welding processes.
  2. Establishment of relationships between R&D institutions and the industry involved or interested in the technology.
  3. Integration of technical knowledge and related information on www.norlas.com, as a basis for distribution, dissemination, sharing and discussion of information.
  4. Experimental demonstrations of the different laser hybrid welding techniques to be presented on www.norlas.com as video sequences.
Features of this site.
In order to full fill the mentioned objectives NORLAS members are invited to participate actively in the project by uploading relevant information about the laser hybrid welding processes within the following categories. Uploading follows the usual procedure through the 'members entrance'. A special uploading area for NORHYB is present here.
